Biographical :

Daniel Ben-Zvi (pronounced BenzVee) is well respected as a
mediator and arbitrator. He is 1 of 32 "Power Mediators" worldwide on
the Hollywood Reporter List. He has resolved more than 1,500
disputes. Mr. Ben-Zvi, admitted to five Bars, draws on 20 years as
a multi-state trial lawyer to resolve complex, high-stakes cases.
This "warrior-turned-peacemaker," as the Daily Journal
described him, brings a unique blend of determination and
creativity to ending bitterly fought lawsuits.
Mr. Ben-Zvi appreciates the unique perspectives of plaintiff and
defense. Throughout his litigation career, Mr. Ben-Zvi represented
both plaintiffs and defendants.
Mr. Ben-Zvi is co-author of a book on mediation and arbitration
entitled, "Inside the Minds -
Alternative Dispute Resolution" [Aspatore Press, Boston
2004]. He writes articles and frequently lectures on dispute
resolution to organizations of mediators, attorneys, law schools
and others. Mr. Ben-Zvi, who writes creatively -- not just
mediates creatively -- was a writer on the television show
"L.A. Law."

Appointed by the City Council of Los Angeles to promote
mediation. In charge of annual Mediation Day since March 2004.

session, together with Mayor and leaders in the legal,
political and mediation communities.
